At Blue Hills Schools, we welcome both boarding and day scholars as part of our school community. Our day scholars are fully integrated into all aspects of school life and have the same opportunities to participate in sports, clubs, and other extracurricular activities as their fellow boarders. We understand that commuting to school can be a challenge for some students, which is why we offer a range of transportation options for our day scholars. Our fleet of buses and vans is equipped with modern safety features and is staffed by trained and experienced drivers who are committed to the safety and wellbeing of our students. As a day scholar at Blue Hills Schools, your child will have access to the same high-quality education and support services as our boarding students. We believe that all of our students, regardless of whether they board or commute and deserve the best possible education.
At Blue Hills School, we prioritize discipline and safety for our day scholars. Our zero-tolerance policy for disruptive or disrespectful behavior, along with a Code of Conduct and security measures such as cameras and emergency procedures, ensures a safe and nurturing environment for students to learn and grow. We also prioritize physical safety through fire safety equipment and first-aid kits, and encourage students to report any suspicious behavior. Our goal is to provide a secure and respectful environment for student success.
At Blue Hills School, we provide safe and reliable transportation for our day scholars via our well-serviced fleet of school buses for those living around Midrand. Parents from other suburbs can arrange transport for their children. We have strict punctuality policy, a designated bus supervisor and seat belts, GPS tracking to ensure safety and well-being of the students during the trip. Our goal is to ensure students arrive at school safely and on time for their success.
