Building Sports Field Terraces

At Blue Hills School, we are constantly seeking ways to improve the educational experience for our students. We are excited to announce our latest initiative: the construction of sports field terraces on our campus. We are reaching out to our community to seek your support in sponsoring this project. Our sports teams have consistently shown outstanding performances, and the addition of the terraces will provide them with a first-class experience to train and compete. The terraces will provide an elevated seating area that overlooks the playing fields, providing an ideal vantage point for spectators. This will allow our school to host more events, encourage participation and foster school spirit. We estimate that the cost of building the sports field terraces will be R2 800 000. This will include the construction of a multi-tiered seating area, with an elevated platform, benches, and safety railings. The terraces will be able to accommodate up to 200 spectators and will be constructed with weather-resistant materials to ensure they can withstand the elements. We believe that investing in these terraces will not only benefit our students and teams but also our broader community. We anticipate an increase in attendance at events, as well as the opportunity to host inter-school competitions and events. This will provide an opportunity for our school to demonstrate our commitment to athletics, while showcasing our facilities to a wider audience.
